Eishin Junior High School Kaito Nakazato
I tell my motive that apply for this project. The report meeting of Youth Delegation 2017 held in opening ceremony of second semester. I heard Australian splendor at that time so, I decided to apply. I go to Australia as Youth Delegation and I felt especially strong three things.
Firstly, Australia is multiracial country. This time we visited school. Many different racial students were registered at school. I realized again that they are living with respect and without racial discrimination each other.
Almost all people are same peoples in Japan so, I felt that Japan has lower consciousness for racial discrimination then Australia. I though it is wonderful to Australian multi-culturalism that everybody are spend in pleasant life.
Secondly, Japan is country that is trusted from foreign country. I’ve thought how foreigner think about Japan. Luckily my host farther talked me about Japanese image. According to his talking Japanese car is very popular besides Japanese manufacture is trust in Australia. I almost have nothing chance that compare Japanese products with foreign goods in Japan, then the moment I heard it I felt proud what I’m Japanese.
But there was a place that gave me a shock. It is War Memorial. I’ve thought Japan was given an extensive damage by war and defeated. This is my image to war. But I knew it was from viewpoint of Japan. We visited War Memorial in Canberra. I can see the War to stand from viewpoint from Australia. Japan not only got an extensive damage but also give an extensive damage to other country. Since I visited War Memorial I could get a valuable experience
Thirdly, almost all people of Campbelltown were friendly. I met a lot of people in Campbelltown. Although I met them the first time they talked me with cheerfully. And I was very surprised to hear that this project consist of all volunteers.
I could learn various things through this project. But I think my development in the future will depends on my lifestyle. I use these various experience I challenge many things and I want to tell these experience to many people from now on.
Lastly, thank you very much for all member of KIA and CKSCA and everybody who engaged in this project.
