It has been an exceptionally busy two weeks, but I would not have it any other way as I am sure I could never have taken part in as many amazing activities as I did. I love the culture and history or Japan, so I was glad that we were able to experience so many things related to these. Taking part in flower arranging and tea ceremonies, and visiting important and cultural & historical sites allowed me to fully and authentically engage with Japanese culture and history, and I am very thankful for that.

Travelling to Japan has not only allowed me to experience a different culture but has allowed me to form bonds and connections with people from both my local community and another part of the world. I would rarely stop to think about the lives of others in the past but now I strive to learn more about others, my community and of course Japan. I have learnt more about myself and my limits than ever before and how to be a better person.
